| To apply to have your current show an IJA Groom Team Sanctioned Competition, or renew your annual membership, you must submit the show promoter application and profile with the non-refundable $75.00 application and processing fee. |

| To be listed on the IJA Sanctioned Shows Events Calendar on January 1st of each year, all registration and approval procedures must be completed by the show promoter by November 1st of the previous year. |
| Registrations received November 1st through December 31st will be placed on the sanctioned show list calendar of events on the second quarter update. |
| Registrations received and completed during first quarter will be placed on second quarter sanctioned show list calendar of events. |
| Registrations received and completed during second quarter will be placed on third quarter sanctioned show list calendar of events. |
| Registrations received and completed during third quarter will be placed on fourth quarter sanctioned show list calendar of events. |
| Registrations received and completed during fourth quarter will be placed on first quarter sanctioned show list calendar of events for the following year if received by December 1st. |

| After completing your application and payment to IJA, you will receive email notification with a link that will allow you access to your personalized dashboard and the show promoter manual. The show promoter manual for conducting IJA Sanctioned Competitions is a step by step guide to all the policies and procedures to efficiently and correctly conduct IJA Competitions. IJA recommends each show promoter assign a contest coordinator. The contest coordinator can be a staff member or an IJA Judge or a future IJA Judge. The individual does not have to be a professional groomer. |
| IJA Judges Offer Online and Onsite Training to Contest Coordinators as Well as Online and Onsite Support |
| IJA Certified Contest Coordinators conduct online and onsite training for new and existing show promoters who want to send employees to be trained and certified as an IJA Contest Coordinator. Online Training Sessions How to Conduct IJA Sanctioned Grooming Competitions is offered online at the beginning of each quarter by a Certified IJA Contest Coordinator. The fee for the training session is $500.00. Onsite Training Sessions After completion of or during the online training sessions, show promoters can attend onsite training sessions offered at approved IJA Sanctioned Competitions around the world. The onsite fee for training is $500 per day. Experienced show promoters who have not conducted an IJA Competition are not required to attend the online and onsite training sessions, however, it is recommended. |
